Yeovil opticians put focus on road safety
The team in Yeovil has helped local children stay safe while out and about by making a special donation.
Staff at the store donated 400 high-visibility vests to children at Lyde Scout Group, Holy Trinity Brownies, Yeovil Cubs and Yeovil Young Beavers. The high-visibility vests were gifted to the local after-school clubs to raise awareness of the importance of road safety.
Jerry Shrubb, store director at Specsavers Yeovil, said: ‘We want to ensure that children – and their parents – feel safe when they’re out and about on the roads.
‘By raising road safety awareness and by offering the children these vests, we hope that they take extra care on trips and excursions.’
