Specsavers in Wrexham town centre has undergone a £300k refit and expansion, investing in more space and top of the range facilities to accommodate its growing customer base and provide more testing rooms downstairs.
New testing rooms
The new look store now boasts five downstairs testing rooms, all of which are fitted out with the latest equipment. The development will significantly improve access for customers who struggle to use the stairs. With the expansion complete and the new facilities now fully operational, the store is about to embark on a recruitment drive, in order to service the demand brought on by the increased capacity.
Store director, John Kamaluddin said: ‘As we took on more customers, some of whom had limited mobility and were unable to use the testing rooms upstairs, we gradually outgrew our old facilities.
We decided to undergo an expansion and refit to better meet the needs of our patients and cut down waiting times for an appointment. The finished result is fantastic – the store is much bigger and we are able to provide an even better eyecare service to the people of Wrexham.
We look forward to welcoming customers, old and new, into the new look store very soon.’
