Specsavers in Chesham is raising awareness of the importance of regular eye tests for all this World Sight Day.
The optical experts from the High Street store are championing the annual awareness day on Thursday 8 October, calling for residents to put eye health on their autumn agendas.
World Sight Day
This year’s World Sight Day call to action is ‘Eyecare for all’, focusing on the universal need for eyecare services.
A word from the store director
Heena Thaker, director of Specsavers in Chesham, said: ‘As eyecare experts, we know how important eye tests are for the whole community and we recommend children and adults have an eye test at least every two years.
‘As well as testing your vision, this will assess the general wellbeing of your eyes and can even help highlight other health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.’
To book an eye test, phone or visit your local Specsavers store.
