The team at Specsavers in Wolverhampton wants to make sure everyone feels the Christmas spirit this December by donating food-filled hampers to the homeless.
Staff at the Wolverhampton store, located at the Wulfrun Centre, have been encouraging customers to pop an extra item in their basket while shopping, to drop off in store. Donations can include Christmas treats such as chocolate, mince pies, cranberry sauce and other long-life food items.
A word from the store director
‘It only seems right to do what we can for those who are most vulnerable at this time of year,’ said store director, Hardip Bahia. ‘Christmas is all about giving and we want to support those who need a little extra help this time of year. We really appreciate any donation, so if you have anything spare, please drop it off in store.’
