Members of staff at Specsavers in West Bridgford have cause for celebration as the store has been nominated in two categories of the Specsavers Awards for Excellence 2016.
The store has been shortlisted as finalists from stores across the country and are now in the running for the Excellence in Contacts Lenses award as well as the Excellence in Overall Performance award.
Aiming to provide an outstanding service
Store director Stephen Rogers commented: ‘We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted in these two categories. It reflects the aims at the heart of our store, to strive for excellence in every area of our service.
‘Our colleagues in the contact lens team are particularly pleased with this award nod, as the department has only been open for 18 months. The team has been working so hard to go the extra mile for our customers and provide outstanding service wherever they can. This news is a real testament to the hard work of each member of staff here in West Bridgford.’
The annual awards run by Specsavers celebrate those stores across the UK and ROI that demonstrate a stand out performance in various areas of the business. The team at West Bridgford will be attending the awards ceremony at Birmingham ICC on Saturday 26 November, where they will discover if they have been successful in winning an award.
The West Bridgford store has previously been recognised in the Excellence for Optical Customer Service category at the 2010 awards.
