Eyecare experts from Specsavers in Waltham Cross have been collecting old and unwanted specs for charity.
The team from the store in The Pavillions are campaigning in aid of Specsavers charity partner, Vision Aid Overseas. The charity receives and recycles old and unwanted specs to help fund eyecare services for those less fortunate overseas.
A word from the store director
Tony Martin, director of Specsavers in Waltham Cross, said: ‘The Waltham Cross community are very generous towards our Vision Aid Overseas appeal. So much so, in 2016, we have amassed many pairs of specs already. It’s fantastic to see these old frames put to good use.’
Donate your old or unwanted specs to Vision Aid Overseas by dropping them into the collection box in store today.
