Staff at Specsavers Worcester raised more than £400 for Acorns Children’s Hospice by running an Easter raffle.
The team ran the chocoholics dream draw, with lucky winner Tracey Webb getting to take home the giant chocolate Easter egg.
‘We’re delighted that this year’s Easter raffle proved so popular raising such a significant amount for our nominated charity, Acorns,’ said store director Alan Richards. ‘We were all quite envious of Tracey, but know that she’ll have a partner in crime, namely her grandson, to help her devour her way through all that chocolate!’
Acorns Children’s Hospice works to provide care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Relying on the generosity of supporters to fund its ongoing work, Acorns operates three hospices across the Midlands which have supported more than 980 families in the past year.
