The team at Specsavers in Sleaford are celebrating after winning a customer service award and being nominated for the Sleaford Town Awards ‘Business of the Year’.

Best in Division

Specsavers at 44 Southgate out-performed their rivals to be crowned ‘Best in Division’ at this year’s Specsavers Customer Service Awards. The team was judged on feedback from their customers and  mystery shopper feedback. This is the third consecutive year that the store has won the award, despite the increase in the award’s geographical catchment area last year. Two of the members of staff were presented with the award by Dame Mary Perkins, the founder of Specsavers, at an awards ceremony last week.

The store has also been nominated for the upcoming Sleaford Town Awards, which are designed to celebrate the unsung town heroes and those that excel in their field. Readers of the Sleaford Standard nominated the store for the prestigious ‘Business of the Year’ award, which will be decided by a panel of judges and awarded at a ceremony at the new town hall.

'Consistantly doing our best'

James Coleman, store director at Specsavers in Sleaford, said: ‘We’re so proud to have won the customer service award for a third year. It means that we’re consistently doing our best for our customers and putting in our all.

‘Finding out that we have been nominated for ‘Business of the Year’ at the Sleaford Town Awards was the cherry on the cake. The whole team works so hard to provide an amazing service, and we’re really pleased that it is not going unnoticed by our loyal customers.’
