The start of a new era for Burgess Hill opticians
International best-selling author Peter James marked the start of a new era for a local Burgess Hill opticians by opening their state-of-the-art new store.
Having occupied the same premises for 20 years, Specsavers Burgess Hill has relocated to bigger premises. Following a significant investment from the directors the new store has undergone a cutting edge renovation, combining the latest eyecare and retail technology to meet the requirements of customers and staff alike.
The store marked the opening by hosting an official launch event on Saturday 2 April. Crime writer Peter James was joined by Hayley Jo, Zumba instructor and star of the Specsavers TV advert. There was also a face painter on hand to keep the children entertained.
Specsavers Burgess Hill store director Maggie Johnson comments: ‘The new store has undergone a complete transformation and we have listened to what our customers want , not just in the way it looks but how it operates on a day-to-day basis.
‘New technologies will allow us to completely reinvent the customer journey and allow us to be flexible to our customers’ needs. The new store will enable us to provide to our loyal customers with the outstanding service they deserve.
Seven testing rooms
‘We will now have seven testing rooms which will enable us to see 300 customers each week. We look forward to welcoming our loyal customers into the new store.'
