Celebrating its 15th anniversary, one of the world’s best-loved monsters, the Gruffalo has emerged from the deep dark woods to make an exclusive appearance in Dingwall on its very own children’s eyewear range.
Now available at Specsavers Dingwall, located at 16/17 High Street, the Gruffalo eyewear range includes a selection of six styles for boys and girls. All Gruffalo specs are priced at £64 or free with an NHS voucher, and are also included in the Kids Two Free Pairs promotion.
All the faces from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved children’s picture books, including Witch and Cat, Dragon and the Gruffalo’s Child, make an appearance on this adorable frame collection.
Gavin Wreath, director at the Dingwall store, says: ‘15 years on and the Gruffalo is still a favourite with children and adults alike and we’re thrilled to welcome this chapter of its story to Dingwall.
Now children can keep their favourite characters close, wherever they are. It’s a great opportunity to show younger specs wearers that glasses can be fun and I’m sure there will be a few jealous non-specs wearing fans as well!’
All of the frames in this Gruffalo range come with SuperTough lenses and a case printed with standout lines from the storybooks.
The Gruffalo range for children, exclusive to Specsavers, is available in stores nationwide and included in the Kids Two Free Pairs promotion which launched at the start of the April. The offer will see children up to the age of 16 qualify for one pair of specs free from the NHS and a second pair from Specsavers free of charge, including prescription sunglasses.
