Team supports Macmillan with home-baked cakes
Staff at Kidderminster Specsavers are offering tasty treats alongside sight tests on Friday 25 September to support Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
The team are inviting customers and passers-by to pop in and sample their home-baked goodies in return for a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.
‘With some keen bakers among our staff, we will be offering a mouth-watering range of delicious cakes,’ said store director, Timothy Reeves.
‘We’re centrally located in the Swan Centre for anyone who’d like to drop in and donate towards Macmillan’s important work, supporting those whose lives are affected by cancer.’
Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is the charity’s largest annual fundraising event, encouraging people to come together to enjoy a treat while raising money for the charity. Providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support, Macmillan is there for the more than 2.5 million cancer sufferers in the UK and their families.
