Medway eye care experts are encouraging local families to include eye tests into their agendas during the school holidays.

Summer holidays

Whether you are planning on keeping the kids amused with local trips to the stunning Kent countryside, or further afield, to the coast, Specsavers Strood, Chatham or Gillingham are there to assist your little ones’ needs.

A word from the store director

Tinus Bonthuys, store director at Specsavers in Strood, Chatham and Gillingham, said: ‘We recommend that children get an eye test every two years from the age of three.

‘Family life can be very hectic and it’s easy for these check-ups to slip, but the summer holidays are a good time to take stock and get booked in for appointments such as eye tests. Visit us in store and our team will be happy to help!’
