Tails were wagging at the Middlebrook Retail Park store as the Specsavers team held a special fundraising day, collecting £260 for the Guide Dogs charity.

In order to stock the store's packed cake sale, all staff baked a product each ranging from dog biscuits, dog and pug cakes and muffins.

Community treat

Store manager Kevein Juste said: 'What a what day and a great effort from the whole team. We had guide dogs all through the day with volunteers and charity service users'.

For a great cause

'We raised £260 and also held a guess the name of the dog which a lucky service user won! Many thanks to all the community that joins us for the day and bought an item in the cake sale.'
