A charity fundraiser has been held by Coatbridge opticians, raising more than £160 for Airdrie Hospice.
Specsavers Coatbridge organised the event to coincide with the launch of a new designer specs collection – Cath Kidston.
Staff kitted out the Main Street store with balloons and banners and hosted a bake sale to raise the money.
A word from the store director
‘It was great to mark the launch of a new range and fundraise for a worthy local cause at the same time,’ said store director Andrew McGonagle.
‘Thank you to the store team for all their wonderful baking contributions and to the local community who donated on the day.’
With something for everyone the new Cath Kidston range includes 13 adult styles and five teen styles as well as four sun designs, now available at Specsavers stores nationwide.
