Specsavers' directors from Surrey stores are proud to announce their support of the Surrey FA for a further three years.
Supporting grassroots football for all in Surrey
Following the renewed partnership, Caroline McRoyall, Chief Executive of the Surrey FA, spoke of her delight and ambition moving forward. “We’re really excited to have Specsavers on board for another three years. The partnership so far has been really beneficial for both of us, so to continue on the great work was an easy decision to make.”
Support to date from stores
Since the partnership began in 2016, Surrey FA and Specsavers have collaborated on a wide range of projects, that includes inspiring more girls and people living life with disabilities to partake in the sport. The next exciting phase of the partnership will see the opticians join the Surrey FA’s journey to its new home at Meadowbank Football Ground.
Exciting times ahead
This state of the art facility is destined to become the hub of football development in Surrey – so the future certainly looks very bright for the Surrey community. Dan Smithard, director of Specsavers in Banstead comments on behalf of his colleagues: “It is a real honour for us to partner with and support the Surrey FA. Together, we share the same ambition: to enhance everyone’s health and wellbeing, regardless of one’s age, gender and physical capability. “Our investment will help the Surrey FA continue with its great work in making football accessible to everyone. For us, to back an initiative that celebrates the love of this great game - in the towns and cities where we have a Specsavers store across Surrey – is an honour and we look forward to the next three years.”
