The team at Specsavers Stratford-upon-Avon raised more than £120 for The Shakespeare Hospice on Friday 16 December by donning their favourite festive knits.

Members of staff donated money to wear their jolly jumpers, and invited the local community to support the cause as well, with all proceeds going towards providing care for one of the Shakespeare Hospice patients over the Christmas break.

Store director Paul Griffiths commented: ‘Christmas is an enjoyable time of year for so many, but it’s important to remember that there are people in our local community who need our support. These funds mean that this patient can return home for Christmas and spend it surrounded by family and friends, as the festive period should be.

‘Thank you to everyone who came along to donate towards such a brilliant cause.’
