Specsavers in Stirling held a raffle to win a bumper hamper filled with delicious food and drink, and a £129 Specsavers voucher.

A word from the Store Director
Susanne Akil, store director at Specsavers Stirling, said: ‘Supporting Strathcarron Hospice annually is very important to us, and we were thrilled to raise more than double the funds than we did in 2018 for the winter raffle.
‘The hospice relies heavily on the support of the local community and I am very proud of the staff and our loyal customers for helping us raise such a significant amount.
Claire Macdonald, business development manager of Strathcarron Hospice, added: ‘To raise £350 from the winter raffle is amazing and we are so grateful to everyone who contributed to the prizes and bought tickets. ‘Alongside traditional and clinical treatments, we have a team of experienced complementary therapist who offer therapies shown to relax both the body and the mind.
‘Just £10 can pay for a hand or foot massage for one patient, helping to relieve pain and reduce anxiety, so the money raised really will help to make a difference.’
The store is a longstanding supporter of Strathcarron Hospice and last year, during its 25th-anniversary celebrations, the store supported the charity in a number of different ways including fundraisers, volunteering at the warehouse and selling glass cleaning kits.’
