Specsavers Winchester raised money for children’s charity, Naomi’s House by inviting children from the community in store for an afternoon of fun.

Face painting and story-telling

On Thursday 29th October, staff from Specsavers, located on the high street, treated children to a story-time session and face painting. Talented young artists were able to enter a colouring competition and all guests indulged in sweet treats from a cake sale. With £1 per entry, all proceeds went towards Naomi’s House and all children received a goody bag.

A word from the Specsavers Winchester store director

Specsavers Winchester store director, Malini Barchha said: ‘We’re delighted to have supported a fantastic local charity with our story-telling day.

‘It was a chance for children and parents in the community to come together and enjoy a fun reading session for a small donation, which went towards helping children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.’
