Specsavers Faversham recently had a busy couple of days supporting the Faversham Transport Weekend, raising over £70 for two great charities along the way.
The annual festival celebrating anything and everything on wheels took place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May.
And the Preston Street store was at the heart of the action, handing out freebies and collecting donations for Guide Dogs and the Kent Association for the Blind.
The team will be collecting for both charities throughout 2019 – and store director Joanna Wyndham will be tacking Mount Snowdon this September to boost funds.
A word from Joanna
Joanna said: ‘Faversham Transport Weekend is always a brilliant local event, and we were delighted to be involved.
‘We would like to thank everyone who made a donation to our chosen charities over the course of the weekend. It really will make a difference to people in need in Kent.’
