Staff from Specsavers Stratford-upon-Avon raised more than £200 for Comic Relief.

The team raised £220 for the cause by holding a bake sale and offering free specs MOTs (cleaning and adjustments), all in return for donations. The store also sold the official Red Nose Day comedy specs which went down a storm!

Significant funds

Paul Griffiths, store director, said: ‘It’s great to have been involved with Red Nose Day and to have raised a significant amount for Comic Relief – thanks to everyone who supported us.’

Specsavers supported Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa and pledged to raise at least £250,000 for the charity.

Specsavers has been a Comic Relief partner since 2015.
