Staff serve up tasty treats for Macmillan

22 September, 2015

Staff at Specsavers in Worcester are showcasing their baking skills on Friday 25 September to support Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

The team are inviting customers and passers-by to pop in for a coffee and a slice of cake between 10am and 4pm, in return for a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.

‘With some keen bakers among our staff, we will be offering a tantalising range of delicious cakes,’ said store director, Alan Richards.

‘We’re centrally located in Worcester for anyone who’d like to drop in and donate to Macmillan, which does wonderful work to support those affected by cancer.’

Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is the charity’s largest annual fundraising event, encouraging people to come together to enjoy a treat while raising money for the charity. Providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support, Macmillan is there for the more than 2.5 million cancer sufferers in the UK and their families.
