Staff member puts customers first
A staff member at Specsavers in Gillingham has won an award for his excellent customer service.
Ashley White, optical assistant at the store, helped a lady who had suffered an injury and couldn’t collect her glasses.
He said: ‘The lady’s husband came in to tell me that she had fallen down the stairs and needed her glasses, so I decided to go to the hospital and bring them to her, adjusting them as well for her.
‘I felt obliged to help this lady as we always put customers first and do our best to offer the best customer service possible. It’s important to make sure you give the right advice and are personable. I’m so happy to have won this award and will continue to help our customers as much as possible with their eye care.’
