St Austell heads up the high street in £50,000 refurbishment
The St Austell store has been refurbished and will provide residents with state-of-the-art eyecare.
Contemporary and modern
The store now has a contemporary and modern style throughout and cost over £50,000 to develop, has new equipment and staff so that more appointments can be booked through the week and on Sundays.
The newly renovated store boasts a fresh new look for staff and customers. The store has four testing rooms, one contact lens room and offers hearcare to all customers.
The store employs 29 members of staff, with 10 members having worked at the store for over 10 years.
Eric Barkhuysen, store director said: ‘We stayed open throughout the shop re-fit to ensure our customers could still be seen and maintain our level of customer service. We love the fresh new look of the store and look forward to welcoming our customers back in to see it.
We want people to come to our store and feel like they’re being well looked after and accommodated. That’s why with more staff we will be able to book more appointments during the week and on Sundays. It’s important to us that we show our community that our doors are open to everyone in St Austell.’
