Staff at Specsavers Kidderminster cycled more than 100 miles in store to raise money for Sport Relief.
The team donned their sports gear and set up a static bike in store for the activity, they managed to cycle an impressive 135 miles, which is the distance from Kidderminster to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, in two days.
‘We’re thrilled to have raised £168 for such a great charity,’ said Tim Reeves, store director. ‘There was a great atmosphere in store, everyone was supportive and got involved, and I think the customers enjoyed seeing staff pedal for pounds while choosing their glasses!’
Sports Relief is a children’s charity that raises money through physical activity and sport. All money raised and donated is spent by sister charity Comic Relief both in the UK and abroad.
