Local youngsters have started their latest football season in style thanks to continued sponsorship from Specsavers.
The under 13s team from The Higham Town Football Club, Higham Lancaster Colts, have received sponsorship from Specsavers for the past two years, with the store providing branded kits and training equipment for the young footballers.
‘We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the Higham Lancasters. They are a very talented group of young footballers and are a great example to other children in the local area to get involved in sports,’ commented store director, Andrew Darby.
The Higham Town Football Club was founded in 1995 and organises more than 16 different teams for footballers of all ages in the area. The Higham Lancaster Colts is currently made up of 18 players who compete in the FA Weetabix Youth Football League, and are currently at the top of their division.
