Specsavers on Queen Street was filled with spook-tacular costumes for Halloween as staff dressed ghoulishly to raise money for the children’s hospice, Tŷ Hafan.

Three members of staff, Ben Phillips, Conor Sinfield and Sophie Cloake, were also awarded prizes for their fancy dress efforts.

‘Fun-filled atmosphere’

Nicola Edwards, manager at Specsavers on Queen Street, said: ‘We’re very lucky to have such an enthusiastic team here at Specsavers, who throw their best effort into every fundraising challenge we set them.

‘Staff really rose to the ‘Halloween holiday’, making it a fun-filled atmosphere for customers who visited the store and all the while raising money for the wonderful Tŷ Hafan charity.’
