Specsavers in Central Avenue has signed a high profile sponsorship deal with West Bridgford Rugby Football Club, who have enjoyed a successful start to the season, topping the league with four wins from four.

Specsavers is among several local businesses who are supporting the club, who recently welcomed store director Stephen Rogers to present the team with their new kit ahead of their win over visiting Matlock RFC.

The first ever Gaelic football match was played last weekend at Truro School between St Piran’s Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and the newly formed Plymouth University GAA team.

When Elstead's running club called to ask if we could sponsor them, Specsavers in Godalming were more than happy to.

The ladies in the club were after new attire - notably, suitable running tops - and in return for paying for the kit, they were honoured to have the Specsavers logos included.

Specsavers in Falkirk and Grangemouth sponsored the family zone at a Falkirk FC match

Specs Man kicked off the Falkirk FC versus St Mirren game at Falkirk Stadium.

Specsavers’ Falkirk and Grangemouth stores sponsored the ‘family zone’ and offered a host of fun activities, including face painting and a colouring in station, before and during the match.

The team was also on hand to chat about the importance of maintaining good eye health with supporters.

A team of young footballers will take to the pitch in style this season thanks to the support of Specsavers in Brownhills. The opticians have sponsored brand new kits for the under 11s team, Walsall Wood Rockets.

Specsavers Dunfermline has helped a team of footballers kick off the new season in style thanks to a new sponsorship agreement.

Year-long partnership

They are proud to announce a year-long partnership with Yeoman Amateur Football Club, enabling the players to sport brand new strips.

The store has gifted more than £640 to the club as part of its ongoing support for local organisations and charities.

Specsavers in Stranraer supported a local bowling club’s flagship tournament earlier this year – and the store has now revealed that it will continue to be the main sponsor of the event.

The team at the George Street store sponsored Stranraer Bowling Club’s Four Bowl Pairs tournament in September. The three-day event was a great success, and the store has now pledged to continue to support the Bowling Green Road club.

Cornish sisters awarded medal

Cornish sisters, Mia aged 13 and Natty aged 11 were two of 24 children honoured at this year’s British Citizen youth Awards, in association with Specsavers, at the Palace of Westminster.

Incredible stories

Mia and Natty Goleniowska are a powerful combination of sisters. Natty has Down’s syndrome and as a family they have created a blog called ‘Downs Side Up’ to promote inclusion and equality.
