Pupils from Birdlip Primary School are getting good with numbers thanks to sponsorship from Specsavers in Gloucester.

Mathletics is an online computer-based Maths programme with interactive learning activities and courses tailored for each child’s skill level.

Katie Patton, who plays Eliza Doolittle in the upcoming production of My Fair Lady dropped into Specsavers Coleraine, recently for a quick eye test.

The 2018 Spirit of Northern Ireland Awards with Specsavers have just been launched and judges are looking for who you think best captures the Spirit of Northern Ireland in 2018.

This annual awards ceremony, which will again be televised by UTV, seeks to honour all those who make a difference across Northern Ireland.

Specsavers Darlington stepped in to help local kettlebell lifters

A team of four Darlington athletes, Joanne Tonkin, Samuel Joblin, Steven Gordon, and Simon Trenholm have been able to represent England and succeed in international games with the support of their local Specsavers store.

Specsavers Darlington sponsored TU NOVA, a group of four local kettlebell lifters who all qualified to represent England at the International Union of Kettlebell Lifting Championships in Seoul, South Korea, in November.

Kettlebell lifting is relatively unknown in the world of weightlifting, and while it is gaining in popularity, receives no funding.

Richmond Specsavers showed support to local girl who is now record holder in swimming

A Richmond girl has scooped five medals at the national swimming championships in Manchester.

Lily MacLeod, aged 16, the British record holder for the 200 meters freestyle para-swim, scooped four gold medals and one silver at the Para-Nationals in Manchester earlier this month. She is sponsored by her local opticians at Specsavers in Richmond’s King Street.

Specsavers Bodmin is investing in local talent

Bodmin dancer, Lauren Russon, aged 13, is celebrating after winning gold in a dance competition in London.

Dancing with Disney

Lauren and her dance company Collide have been going from strength to strength.

Lauren’s solo performance win was matched by a gold medal for the group in jazz and contemporary dance in the same competition.

In March, 10 members of the group are travelling to Los Angeles to join exclusive classes with famous choreographers performing in Disney productions.

Altrincham Specsavers Fun Day

Specsavers in Altrincham is celebrating after announcing that it will have its very own hearing dog to sponsor throughout 2018.

Jolly Juno

Specsavers Hearing Centre in Altrincham recently held a fun day where the team from Hearing Dogs for the Deaf brought along a hearing dog for staff and customers to meet.

They have since been told they will be sponsoring a dog called Juno.

This will be the third year that the local opticians is supporting the musical society having previously sponsored their productions of Annie and Legally Blonde.

Specsavers Stirling are proud to support Stirling Highland Games caber tossing event

Specsavers in Stirling has showed its dedication to the local community by sponsoring the caber toss event at the 2017 Stirling Highland Games.

The Specsavers Cup was presented to the Champion of Tossing the caber by Scott Currie, store manager at Specsavers Stirling.

The Stirling store is just one of the proud sponsors of the event, which was held on Saturday 19 August at Stirling Games Field.

The store agreed to provide £1,000 in sponsorship to the 2017 games, which attracted thousands of visitors from across the country and overseas.

The Llanelli team is continuing its sponsorship of a local college football academy for the 10th consecutive year.

Decade of sponsorship

The Specsavers logo is featured on Coleg Sir Gâr’s Football Academy kit. Since the store first sponsored the squad in 2007, they have competed in the English Colleges Football Association’s elite league and many of the Academy players have gone on to play in national teams.
