Specsavers stores across Surrey and London are delighted to announce their sponsorship of The Surrey FA.

About The Surrey FA
The Surrey FA is a registered charity that was formed in 1882 with the aim of developing grassroots football in Surrey. It covers an area of 15 boroughs and reaches over 1.1 million people. The charity is one of the largest County FAs in England with over 4,000 teams and 1,000 referees. The Surrey FA also run hundreds of events each season from youth football to over 50’s football and from disability football to variations of the game such as futsal.

Specsavers is thrilled to support the charity’s team that comprises 22 full time staff and over 70 volunteers who are all are fully committed to providing opportunities for everyone to play the sport no matter their level or ability. Specsavers is committed to promoting the importance of health to the community, so what better than to get behind an active organisation like The Surrey FA!

What the sponsorship entails
Monies donated to The Surrey FA by 21 local stores across Surrey and London will help extend the charity’s reach to a wider audience and make football more accessible to certain groups such as the over 50’s and those with disabilities. The Specsavers team are very excited about upcoming events and look forward to sharing more details over the coming year.
