Specsavers Skegness hosted a 1 mile walk in aid of Diabetes UK on Sunday 6th September. The team at Specsavers Skegness raised awareness and funds for diabetes, which currently affects over 3.9 million people in the UK.

Specsavers Skegness invited the local community to join them on a charity walk in order to raise vital funds for the UK’s leading diabetes charity. As a further 11.5 million people in the UK are at increased risk of getting Type 2 diabetes, the team at Specsavers were keen to support the local members of the public who suffer from the lifelong condition.

Kate Johnson, Store Director at Specsavers in Skegness said: “We are so proud to support Diabetes UK, Diabetes has affected so many of the team here at Skegness. I was thrilled to see the community come together to support us, we will continue to support Diabetes UK throughout the next year.”
