Marking National Eye Health Week, Specsavers in Shandwick Place has unveiled its brand new look, which has been completely overhauled to improve the service it provides to the community.
The Edinburgh opticians has spent more than £40,000 transforming its store into a state-of-the-art optical and hearing facility. The development has included changing the layout of the store to improving the customer experience with a modern and fresh environment.
Customers can now browse a wider collection of frames, including an extended designer range.
Aly Uke, store director of Specsavers Shandwick Place, says: 'The refurbishment of the store has been a long time in the planning and we are thrilled with the result.
‘After five years of tram works on the street, the West End is ready to flourish again, and our store’s refresh will play a big part in that through attracting more customers whilst giving other traders indirect support.
‘Our investment represents our long term commitment to deliver great service to all our existing and new customers.’ Aly added:
National Eye Health Week
'We have unveiled our makeover just in time for National Eye Health Week to remind people of the importance of having eye tests as part of your regular health routine.
'There is so much that can be detected from an eye test, including conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. The equipment and technology installed in our store is the best in the industry so customers can rest assured they are in good hands.'
