Christmas lights switch on

On Saturday 15 November, when the Reading Christmas lights are switched on, Specsavers will play host to the group of women who will be singing in support of their husbands in the armed forces.

Store director Don Watts said: ‘We want to show our support and respect for Remembrance Day this week. ‘The Military Wives Choir reminds us of our fallen soldiers and those currently serving in the forces and what they’ve done for this country. We're inviting the Reading community to come and donate to Help for Heroes so that we can give something back to the troops.
