Worthing goes woolly for Christmas Jumper Day
Opticians and audiologists in Worthing showed off their favourite festive knits to support Christmas Jumper Day this month.
The team at Specsavers Worthing turned up to work in an array of Christmas-themed jumpers to promote the charity event and bring some seasonal cheer to their customers.
Members of staff also made donations on the day to the Christmas Jumper Day appeal.
Save the Children
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Save the Children charity, with the money used to help provide healthcare, education, food and protection to millions of children living in challenging conditions around the world.
Cheryl Spray, store director at Specsavers Worthing, said: ‘The whole team had a brilliant time dressing up in Christmas jumpers and we were more than happy to support such a worthy cause.
'We hope our donations will make a positive difference to lives of children going through difficult times.’
