Worcester spreads festive cheer
Worcester Specsavers is spreading goodwill this season by offering customers the chance to win one of six festive hampers, with all proceeds going to two local charities.
Customers and passers-by were invited to pop into Specsavers on Broad Street, Worcester to pick up a raffle ticket in return for a suggested donation of £1 per entry or £2.50 per strip. The store gave away five adult hampers, made of festive food and drink- sure to help make the season of merriment a little merrier, as well as one children’s hamper.
A word from the store director
‘Christmas is a great time for giving, and we wanted to do something to say thank you to all our lovely customers, as well as supporting local charities’ said store director Alan Richards.
All proceeds are going to Acorn’s Children Hospice and St. Richards Hospice, which are two charities we have supported for the past few years. The hampers were organised by our staff, and everyone has been very generous in their donations.'
The winners were selected during a prize draw on December 17.
