Specsavers Wood Green have done their bit to help local children stay seen this winter.

The store, in the High Road, has donated high-visibility vests to St Paul’s Catholic Primary School.

Great day out

And the school has already put them to good use, when they took pupils to see Snow White on Ice at Alexandra Palace.

They will be used on other school trips over the winter months.

A word from the store director

Fred Agyarko, store director in Wood Green, said: ‘It is really important to us to be able to give back to our local community whenever possible, so we were delighted to be able to donate these high visibility vests to the school.

‘Staying seen in winter is really important for adults and children, as is making sure your eyes stay healthy so you can see others. So if you have not had an eye test in a while, why not come and see us.’
