Customers and staff at Specsavers Wood Green have been giving generously for a local charity this festive season.
Presents for kids
The store, in the High Road, has been collecting Christmas presents for kids being looked after by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.
The charity runs a hospice-at-home service for children in North and Central London, but is currently raising funds to build ‘The Ark’, a purpose-built children’s hospice.
Really important work
Lopa Shah, store director in Wood Green, said: ‘Christmas is a time for family, and also to think of others who may not be as fortunate as we are.
‘We have been really delighted to collect presents for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice this year, and hope that each and every one of them brings a smile to the face of the child who receives it.’
