The Mayor of Weston-Super-Mare has officially opened the new improved Specsavers at 75 The High Street.

Cllr. Jos Holden joined staff, customers and Hearing Dogs representative Lucy and her dog Cassie to mark the occasion.

Supporting Hearing Dogs

Cllr. Jos Holden said: ‘It is an honour to join Lucy from Hearing dogs charity to help raise awareness and funds. It cannot be underestimated the positive impact that these dogs can have for the owner and their family.’

Specsavers Weston-Super-Mare store directors, Michelle Trego, Ruth Bowering and Hearing store director Angie Bull said: ‘We believe this store gives customers old and new the best optical care can offer.

'We have increased the number of optical test rooms from three to five and the hearing business now has two dedicated test rooms.’
