Wantage Specsavers has achieved Platinum Employer status in recognition of it being a great place to work.

A word from the store director

‘It’s great to have received Platinum Employer status,’ said store director Nicky Rutter. ‘It’s a testament to the hard work we are putting in here to create a positive team culture, as well as our commitment to staff retention and development.’

Platinum Employer scheme

The Grove Street store received the accreditation after being externally assessed against five standards in different areas of the employee experience, such as performance management, recruitment and induction and reward.

The accreditation measures five benchmarks of the employee experience, including talent management, recruitment and induction, and performance management and reward. 

The Platinum Employer scheme was created to help support the recruitment and retention of Specsavers store staff across the UK and Ireland.
