Do you know an unsung community hero? If so, the Specsavers stores in Surrey would love to see them nominated for an award this festive season.
The high street opticians and audiologists is looking for people who have done all that they can to make others smile during the pandemic.
They could end up winning a £1000 cash prize and a voucher to spend on glasses at their local store, alongside a one-to-one video call with Martin and Roman Kemp.
The dynamic father and son duo will be helping to judge the winners, and are happy to be involved after a tough year for everyone.
Former Spandau Ballet musician and actor, Martin, says: ‘This year has been tough for all of us, but there are people throughout the country who are so generous in their commitment to their local community, regardless of whatever personal challenges they might face.
‘If you know someone who deserves recognition, visit specsavers.co.uk/smile-makers to nominate them today. This could be anyone who has gone above and beyond, helping those isolated with a face-to-face visit, organising community events such as food banks or virtual entertainment, bringing people together to raise morale, or simply being a friendly face in a time of need.’
Visit specsavers.co.uk/smile-makers for more information and to submit your nomination. Entries close Friday 15 January 2021.
