Specsavers Street helped those most in need during the festive season by donating £1 from every sight test carried out in a week, raising £150.
All the money raised was used to ensure that even the most vulnerable in the local community were able to enjoy a hot meal and some company on Christmas Day.
A word from the store director
‘This is the second year that we’ve raised money to help those most in need in our local community,’ said store director, Colin Shearer.
‘Christmas is a time for giving, so we were keen to get involved again and are delighted to have been able to help a local cause at what can be a challenging time of year.’
