Stranraer puts fundraising in the frame this Christmas
Specsavers in Stranraer is raffling off a hamper packed with festive fayre to raise money for charity.
The Specsavers store in George Street has collected Christmas goodies in a luxury hamper – and every raffle ticket purchase will be donated to the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
A strip of five raffle tickets is priced £1.
The winner will be drawn on Friday 22 December.
Proud to help charities
Store director Elaine Hawthorn said: ‘Supporting charities is very important to us and we’re very proud to be raising money for the RNIB this Christmas.
‘As a successful business in the town, it’s so important that we help organisations that are doing vital work out there in our communities.
‘Giving away the hamper is a thank you to all of our customers and I’m sure the lucky winner will be delighted.’
