Specsavers in Stourport is hoping to raise vital funds for the Mentor Link charity by hosting a spec-tacular Christmas raffle.
The team at Specsavers on the High Street have more than 20 prizes to be won, including eight bottles of wine, a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of champagne, kindly donated by local financial advisor, Neil Barton. Other local businesses have contributed Christmas goodies including a beautiful china dish full of toiletries, make-up, ornaments, Celebrations and Quality Street.
Tickets for the raffle are currently available in store for a donation of £1 and will be until the Saturday 16 December, when the winners will be drawn. Mentor Link is a local charity that support distressed children through providing adult volunteer mentors.

Store director Tim Reeves, said: ‘Christmas is a time of year for us to think about the children and young people who are struggling at home. We are delighted to fund the remarkable work of Mentor Link in their mission to support vulnerable children.
‘We’d like to thank all the local businesses who have supported us and our generous customers who have bought tickets already. We have some great prizes for our Christmas raffle, so please pop into the store and help us to make this our biggest fundraiser of the year.’
Mentor Link is dedicated to supporting vulnerable and distressed children and young people by providing them with a volunteer mentor. Mentors offer listening support and guidance to these young people during difficulties in their lives, which may include self-harm, bullying, traumatic bereavement and family breakdown.
