Specsavers Hastings and Specsavers Bexhill are getting involved in some Halloween fun this October by sponsoring a local charity pumpkin hunt.
The hunt, in aid of Demelza Hospice Care for Children, will take place on Friday 26 October, starting at 6 pm on Butlers Gap, in the Old Town in Hastings.
Spooky fun for charity
Local children will be able to collect treats along a spooky trail and could win a prize for wearing a terrifying fancy dress costume.
The charity provides specialist care and emotional support for children with terminal conditions and their loved ones. They need to raise £10.5million each year to keep offering their services to all who need them.
A word from the store director
Rob Lofting, director at the Specsavers stores in Hastings and Bexhill, said: ‘We are delighted to be sponsoring the pumpkin hunt this year, and hope everyone taking part has a spook-tacular time.
‘Demelza Hospice Care for Children is a great charity which does amazing work with families across the south-east. We hope hundreds of people take part to raise lots of much-needed funds for such a good cause.’
