Charity boost for Strathcarron
Specsavers Stirling showed its support for Strathcarron Hospice by running different fundraising initiatives in December.
The store sold a range of Strathcarron Hospice Christmas Cards, 2017 Diaries and Specsavers Glasses Cleaning Kits.
£1 from every glasses cleaning kit sold during November/December was donated to the hospice totally £200.
A word from the store director
Store director Susanne Akil says: ‘We are proud to support Strathcarron Hospice once again this Christmas. The charity is very important to us, and we were thrilled to be able to donate £200 towards its vital work.
‘Thank you to our kind customers, friends and members of the community who continuously give generously to a cause we are so proud to support.’
The store is a longstanding supporter of Strathcarron Hospice and last year it hosted quarterly fundraisers throughout the year to raise vital funds, whilst promoting awareness of the work the hospice carries out.
This work includes special palliative care services, as well as home visits across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth.
