The teams at Specsavers Great Yarmouth and Specsavers Gorleston got their trainers on for a really good cause recently, as they got together to run the Race for Life.
The team at the Great Yarmouth store, in Market Place, have taken part in the annual event for Cancer Research UK for the last seven years.
With many of the Specsavers Gorleston team having moved from the Great Yarmouth store when the new store in Lowestoft Road opened earlier this year, they were keen to join their former colleagues for the 5k challenge.
The team wore it pink for the race – and raised lots of money for charity along the way, £810 in total.
A good cause
Roxanne England, practice manager in Gorleston, said: ‘Cancer Research UK is a really good cause, and we have been delighted to support it over the last seven years.
‘The team had a brilliant time on the day and are looking forward to the next one.’
