The team from Wells Specsavers supported Red Nose Day on Friday 24 March with a sleepwear themed fancy dress day, raising more than £170.

Pyjamas and onesies

Pyjamas and onesies were the outfits of choice as the team paid for the privilege of wearing their comfiest bed wear, also donning the official Red Nose Day comedy glasses which come complete with waving hands on each side.

A word from the store director

‘It was a really great day in-store and it was brilliant to see so many of the team get involved in the event,’ said store director Nic Johns.

‘A big thank you goes to our generous customers who purchased the comedy specs and donated to Comic Relief. We really appreciate everyone’s involvement and are looking forward to the next one!’

£475,000 donation

Specsavers in Wells has joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa and have raised £475,000 for the charity.
