Specsavers Sevenoaks are celebrating training success for one of the team at the High Street store.

Dave Tighe-Ellis has been awarded gold status as an in-store trainer after completing the latest part of his training pathway for that role.

Developing staff

The pathway for in-store trainers aims to provide them with the skills and knowledge to identify the right development opportunities for staff.

Gold is the fourth stage in the pathway, and Dave is one of the first Specsavers in-store trainers in the UK to achieve this.

Quality customer care

Maxine Chakowa, store director in Sevenoaks, said: ‘We take training and development very seriously as a store, and the role that Dave plays is very important to that.

‘Having well-trained staff who are supported to fulfil their potential has a direct impact on the quality of customer service and care that we are able to provide – so we are delighted that this course supports Dave to support the rest of our team.’
