Thanks to Specsavers Seaford, local children will be a little safer this winter.

That is because the Broad Street store has donated a massive pile of high visibility vests to Cradle Hill School to help pupils be seen more easily in the dark.

Road Safety Week

The store has handed over 250 vests in total – 200 for children and 50 for adults.

They were collected by Tracy Parkinson, the school secretary at Cradle Hill School, during Road Safety Week at the end of November.

Part of the community

Chris Titherington, store manager in Seaford, said: ‘We were delighted to be able to donate these high visibility vests to Cradle Hill School this year. We hope they find them really useful.

‘The sense of community in Seaford is fantastic. We are very proud to have been part of that community for the last 12 years - and really pleased to be able to give something back.’
