Specsavers Seaford are storming into 2018 with a smile on their face, having achieved Platinum Employer status earlier this year.
Great people management
The store, in Broad Street, was the first Specsavers in Sussex to receive the accolade – awarded for meeting a number of key standards around people management.
These include requirements around talent management, recruitment and induction, performance management and reward, learning and development, and employee engagement.
A word from the store manager
Chris Titherington, store manager in Seaford, said: ‘We were delighted to be the first Specsavers store locally to achieve this accreditation.
'We want to be well-known as a great place to work, as we know that by recruiting and developing the best people we will be able to offer the best service to our customers.
‘We have no plans to rest on our laurels in 2018. We will strive to continue to make our service even better for our customers, and to give our staff the best experience at work that we can.’
