Fundraising frenzy for four-legged friends
Members of staff from Specsavers Hearing Centre in Ross on Wye raised almost £150 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
The team from Specsavers came together to offer specs MOTs (cleaning and adjustments) and held a cake sale in store to support the charity that helps transform deaf people’s lives.
A word from the store director
Specsavers store director, Peter Lyons said: ‘At Specsavers in Ross on Wye, we put great efforts into providing high quality eyecare and hearing services. Hearing Dogs is a fantastic cause which we feel reflects our values as a hearing centre.
‘Fundraising is a great opportunity to come together as a team, have fun in store and support a really worthwhile cause. We’d like to say a huge thank you to the local community for coming down and getting involved in the fundraising activities. We hope that everyone enjoyed the delicious cakes as much as we did.’
