A sporty duo from Bicester Specsavers have raised more than £165 for Comic Relief by completing a 80km bike ride.  

80km challenge

Tamba Nepor and Tanja White supported the charity on Saturday 18 March by taking it in turns to pedal a static bike in-store in exchange for donations towards the cause.

Satnam Johal, store director at Specsavers in Bicester, said: ‘We’re so proud of Tamba and Tanja for volunteering to take on this challenge. They did such a great job and reached their target in six hours.

'A big thank you goes to our customers for their generous donations and support on the day.’

£475,000 donation

Specsavers in Bicester joined other stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa and raised £475,000 for the charity.
